重 力 波

1905年にアルベルト・アインシュタインは、有名な相対性理論を発表しました。
そして1916年に彼は重力波の発見を予言しました。
その時から科学者は、重力波の存在を予想していましたが、今までそれを検出する事ができませんでした。しかし去年の9月14日にアメリカの２つの観測所が重力波を発見しました。
そして先月の11日にアメリカのNational Science Foundation（アメリカ国立科学財団）がその発見を発表しました。
重力波は２つのブラックホールの合併の結果です。
合併した２つのブラックホールの大きさは驚くべき大きさです。
１つのブラックホールの質量は太陽の36倍です。もう１つは太陽の29倍です。また、各ブラックホールの直径は50kmです。

このような科学的の発見を聞く度に、私は天と地を創造された神様の偉大さを感じます。聖書に書いてある言葉が心に浮かんできます。

「ハレルヤ。天において主をほめたたえよ。いと高き所で主をほめたたえよ。 主をほめたたえよ。すべての御使いよ。主をほめたたえよ。主の万軍よ。 主をほめたたえよ。日よ。月よ。主をほめたたえよ。すべての輝く星よ。 主をほめたたえよ。天の天よ。天の上にある水よ。 彼らに主の名をほめたたえさせよ。主が命じて、彼らが造られた。」
詩篇 148:1～5

「若い男よ。若い女よ。年老いた者と幼い者よ。 彼らに主の名をほめたたえさせよ。主の御名だけがあがめられ、その威光は地と天の上にあるからだ。」
詩篇 148:12～13

私は、まだキリストを信じていない皆さんにお勧めします。人間が創った神々ではなく、この素晴らしい天と地を創造された真の神様を信じて下さい。
そして、私は今何かの問題のために苦しんでいるクリスチャンにお勧めします。あなたの問題は、どれほど大きな問題であっても、神様はあなたの問題より大きいと理解して下さい。

「神の全能の力の働きによって私たち信じる者に働く神のすぐれた力がどのように偉大なものであるかを、あなたがたが知ることができますように。」エペソ人への手紙 1:19

　　
GRAVITATIONAL WAVES　

In 1905 Einstein announced the famous theory of relativity, and then, in 1916, he predicted the discovery of gravitational waves. Since then scientists have anticipated the discovery of gravitational waves, but they had been unable to detect the waves. However, on September 14 of last year, two American observatories were able to detect gravitational waves for the first time. The National Science Foundation announced the discovery on February 11th.

Gravitational waves are the result of the merger of two black holes. The size of the two black holes that merged is amazing. The mass of one of them was 36 times the mass of the sun, and the mass of the other one was 29 times the mass of the sun. Also, the diameter of each black hole was about 30 miles.

Every time I hear about a scientific discovery like this, I sense the greatness of the God who created the heaven and the earth. These words written in the Bible come to mind.

Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all you stars of light! Praise Him, you heavens of heavens, and you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord, For He commanded and they were created. Both young men and maidens; old men and children. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and heaven. (Psalm 148:1-5, 12-13)

To everyone who has yet to believe in Jesus Christ, I encourage you to believe not in the gods who were created by man but in the true God who created the marvelous heaven and earth.

Also, I encourage every Christian who is suffering because of some problem to remember that, no matter how big your problem may be, God is bigger than your problem.
That you may know what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power. (Ephesians 1:19)
