先日、撲相の“新序出世披露”がありました。
新弟子検査に合格したのは12名でした。
その中の一人は190㎝、123㎏です。
これは特別に驚く事ではありません。
なぜなら、その位の関取は沢山います。しかし、驚くべき事に彼の年齢です。まだ15歳です。
どうやって彼は15歳までに190㎝、123㎏になったのでしょうか。
力士になる夢をかなえるため、彼は牛乳を飲んで体を大きくしようと考えました。それで、彼は、毎日5ℓの牛乳を飲みました！

私は、全てのクリスチャンに同じ事をお勧めします。
もっと強いクリスチャンになるため、毎日牛乳をたくさん飲みましょう。
もちろん、私はマーケットで買う牛乳の事を言っているのではありません。聖書の牛乳です。

「生まれたばかりの乳飲み子のように、純粋な、みことばの乳を慕い求めなさい。それによって成長するためです。」Ⅰペテロの手紙2:2

霊的に成長するため、クリスチャンは、御言葉の純粋な牛乳を飲まなければなりません。
幕下のクリスチャンになりたいなら毎日、聖書の牛乳を5節飲んで見て下さい。
十両のクリスチャンになりたいなら、毎日聖書の牛乳を5ページ飲んで見て下さい。
横綱のクリスチャンになりたいなら毎日、聖書の牛乳を5章飲んで見て下さい。

私達も、霊的に成長してもっと強いクリスチャンになるために、毎日お祈りをしてから、聖書を開いて牛乳をたくさん飲みましょう。

　　　　
5 LITERS OF MILK A DAY！　　

Last Sunday the Sumo Association held a ceremony to announce the new wrestlers. There were 12 who had passed the test to become sumo wrestlers. One of them was 190 centimeters tall and weighed 123 kilograms. This is nothing special, for there are many sumo wrestlers this size. What is amazing is his age. He is only 15 years old!

How did he grow to 190 centimeters and 123 kilograms by the age of 15? In order to become a sumo wrestler, he decided to strengthen his body by drinking milk. He drank 5 liters of milk every day!

I want to urge the same thing to all Christians. In order to become a strong Christian, drink a lot of milk every day. Of course, I am not talking about the milk that you buy at the market. I’m talking about the milk of God’s Word. As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby. (First Peter 2:2)
In order to grow spiritually, a Christian must drink the pure milk of the Word of God.

If you want to be a makushita (third division) Christian, drink 5 verses of the milk of the Word a day. If you want to be a juuryou (second division) wrestler, drink five pages of the milk of the Word every day. If you want to be a yokozuna (grand champion) Christian, drink 5 chapters of the milk of the Word daily.

In Psalm 119:28 David prayed, Strengthen me according to Your word.
In order to grow spiritually and become a stronger Christian, pray this prayer every day and then open the Bible and drink the milk of the Word.
