皆さんはアメリカのプロ野球でワールドシリーズを知っていると思いますが、ポーカーと言うトランプ・ゲームのワールドシリーズを知っていますか？　「World Series of Poker」は毎年アメリカのラスベガスで行われます。
去年107,844人がこのゲームに参加しました。 Qui Nguyenさん（ベトナム人）が優勝して$8,000,000（約9億円）を獲得しました。

アメリカで「World Series of Poker」は、テレビで放送されます。
去年、百万人以上の人々がこの決勝戦を見ました。 私もその番組を見るのが好きです。（もちろん、私はクリスチャンですから、ギャンブル等、お金を賭けるゲームをしません）私にとって、その番組のハイライトは選手が自分のお金を全部賭ける事です。その時、選手は「All in」と宣言します。「All in」つまり「私は、全てを賭けます」と言う意味です。

私は、同じ事を勧めます。今、神様は皆さんのために大きな門を開いて下さっています。一緒に神様に「主よ、私はAll in です」と言いましょう。だから、主に全てを捧げましょう。時間も、財産も、賜物も。

聖書に「All in」の意味を説明する言葉があります。
マタイの福音書22:37～38に書いてあるキリストの言葉です。
「そこで、イエスは彼に言われた。「『心を尽くし、思いを尽くし、知力を尽くして、あなたの神である主を愛せよ。』 これがたいせつな第一の戒めです。」
この箇所を英語の聖書で見て下さい。
そこには「All」と言う言葉が３回も出てくる事に気がつきます。
「All your heart, all your soul, all your mind」
と書いてあります。

ポーカーをやる人にとって「All in」は、お金を全て賭ける事ですが、クリスチャンにとって「All in」は心を尽くし、思いを尽くし、力を尽くして、神様に仕える事です。

読者の皆さん「All in」を宣言して、立ち上がって神様の教会を建て上げましょう。

You may have heard of professional baseball’s World Series, but have you ever heard of the World Series of Poker? The World Series of Poker is held every year in Las Vegas. Last year 107,844 people took part in this tournament. The winner, Qui Nguyen from Vietnam, won $8,000,000

The World Series of Poker is broadcast on TV in America. Over one million people watched last year’s championship. I like to watch the program. (Of course, I am a Christian, so I do not play games where you bet money.) To me, the highlight of the program is when a player decides to bet all his money. He says, “All in.” In other words, “I bet all my money.”

I would like to urge the same thing to the people of this church. God has opened a great door for Kokura BBC, so with one voice let’s say to God, “Lord, I am all in.” In other words, let’s offer everything to the Lord – our time, our possessions, our talents.

In the Bible there are words that explain the meaning of “all in.” They are the words of Christ written in Matthew 22:37. Thou shalt love the Lord they God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Notice that the word “all” appears three times in this passage.

To the person who plays poker, “all in” means to bet all your money, but to the Christian, “all in” means to serve the Lord with all of your heart and all of your soul, and all of your mind. Let’s go “all in” and rise up and build the church of God.
