「生きる力」３つの柱で

今月15日付の朝日新聞に“「生きる力」３つの柱で”と言う記事がありました。
その記事にはこう書いてありました。
学校に「生きる力を育むこと」を求めている点は、これまでの指導要領と変わらない。改訂案の特徴は、そのために①知識や技能　②思考力、判断力、表現力　③学びに向かう力、人間性……
の３つの育てるべき資質・能力を示したことだ。各教科でも、この３つの柱について目標や学習内容を整理して書き込む形になった。
生徒達に生きる力を与えるこの３つの柱は、霊的に成長して神様のために生きるクリスチャンにも必要です。

１. 知識　ピリピ人への手紙1:9～11でパウロは書きました。
私は祈っています。あなたがたの愛が真の知識とあらゆる識別力によって、いよいよ豊かになり、 あなたがたが、真にすぐれたものを見分けることができるようになりますように。またあなたがたが、キリストの日には純真で非難されるところがなく、イエス・キリストによって与えられる義の実に満たされている者となり、神の御栄えと誉れが現わされますように。

２.思考　「あなたがたも、自分は罪に対しては死んだ者であり、神に対してはキリスト・イエスにあって生きた者だと、思いなさい。」ローマ人への手紙6:11

あなたがたは、地上のものを思わず、天にあるものを思いなさい。「あなたがたは、地上のものを思わず、天にあるものを思いなさい。」コロサイ人 への手紙3:2

３. 学び　マタイの福音書11:28-29でキリストは言われました。
　「すべて、疲れた人、重荷を負っている人は、わたしのところに来なさい。わたしがあなたがたを休ませてあげます。わたしは心優しく、へりくだっているから、あなたがたもわたしのくびきを負って、わたしから学びなさい。そうすればたましいに安らぎが来ます。」

神様のために生きる事を望むクリスチャンの３つの柱は、聖書を読む事を通して正しい知識をえる事と聖霊の助けによって正しく考える事と親しい交わりを通してキリスト御自身から学ぶ事です。

　　　　　

THREE PILLARS FOR LIVING 

(In the February 15th edition of the Asahi Newspaper there was an article entitled “Three Pillars for Living Power.” This is a summary of that article.) [Wanting schools to foster the power to live in students, the gist of the purpose of education will continue to be three things. 1-Knowledge and skill; 2-Intellectual power and the power of judgment and expression;
3-The power to learn. These three pillars of education will be included in the content of each course.]

These three pillars that give students the power to live are necessary also to Christians who want to grow spiritually and live for God.

1-In Philippians 1:9-11 Paul wrote, And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

2-Thought. Reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:11) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. (Colossians 3:2)

3-Learning. In Matthew 11:28-29 Christ said, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

The three pillars of the Christian who desires to live for God are obtaining true knowledge by reading the Bible, right thinking through the help of the Holy Spirit, and learning from Christ Himself through close fellowship with Him.
