変わること と 変わらないこと

今日、小倉教会は新しい会堂で最初の礼拝を行います。
今日から新しく変わる事がいくつかあります。
場所が変わります。礼拝の時間が変わります。
もう家賃や月極駐車場費を払う必要がありません。
会計が変わります。
バプテスマ式を行う時期が変わります。今までバプテスマのプールは外だったので、暖かい時期にバプテスマ式を行っていました。新会堂の中にバプテスマプールを設置しました。バプテスマを受けたい人はいつでも受ける事ができます。
上記の事は変わりますが、変わらない事もあります。まず、教会の任務は変わりません。

マタイの福音書28:19-20でキリストは教会の任務をはっきり述べました。
「あなたがたは行って、あらゆる国の人々を弟子としなさい。そして、父、子、聖霊の御名によってバプテスマを授け、 また、わたしがあなたがたに命じておいたすべてのことを守るように、彼らを教えなさい。」
この任務はちっとも変わっていません。これからも忠実に献金を捧げて奉仕をしましょう。

教会の信仰も変わりません。
私達は、また次の三つの根本的な教理を信じています。
第一に、私達は聖書が全て誤りも矛盾もない神様の完全な御言葉であると信じています。
「聖書はすべて、神の霊感によるもので、教えと戒めと矯正と義の訓練とのために有益です。」
Ⅱテモテへの手紙3:16

第二に、私達はイエス・キリストが全ての人々のために十字架の上で死んで下さった神様のひとり子であると信じています。
「神は、実に、そのひとり子をお与えになったほどに、世を愛された。それは御子を信じる者が、ひとりとして滅びることなく、永遠のいのちを持つためである。」
ヨハネの福音書3:16

第三に、私たちは人を罪の罰から救う事ができる方はイエス・キリストだけであると信じています。
「キリスト以外には、だれによっても救いはありません。世界中でこの御名のほかには、私たちが救われるべき名としては、どのような名も、人間に与えられていないからです。」

THINGS THAT CHANGE AND THINGS THAT WILL NOT CHANGE

Today the Kokura church will hold the first meeting in the new building. From today several things will change. The location will change. The meeting times will change. We will not have to pay the rent and parking any longer, so the finances will change. The time for holding a baptismal service will change. Until now the baptismal pool was outside, so we could have baptisms only when it was warm. There is a baptismal pool in the new church, so those who want to be baptized can be baptized any time.

These things will change, but there are some things that will not change. First of all, the mission of the church will not change. In Matthew 28:19-20 Christ clearly stated the mission of the church.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.

Our mission has not changed even one little bit, so let’s continue to faithfully give our offerings and work at the church.

Also, our faith will not change. We still believe the following three fundamental doctrines. First, the entire Bible is the perfect Word of God with no mistakes or contradictions.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (Second Timothy 3:16)

Second, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the cross for all people.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Third, we believe that the only one who can save us from the penalty of our sins is Jesus Christ.
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
