隠れたドア

私は、先日の日曜日にインディアナ州のニュー・キャッスル市にあるテンプル・バプテスト教会で説教しました。
現在この教会は無牧です。
だから牧師館に泊まる事になりました。
私は顔を洗いと思いましたが洗面所にはタオルがありませんでした。
洗面所のキャビネットを開けて見たが空っぽでした。
その後、寝室のタンスの中を探しましたが、全ての引き出しは空っぽでした。
そして台所の全ての引き出しを開けて見たけど、やはりタオルはどこにもありませんでした。
だから私は教会の執事に電話して「タオルは、どこにありますか？」と聞きました。
すると彼は「洗面所のクローゼットの中にありますよ！」と答えました。
もう一度、洗面所に行って見て、洗面所のドアの裏側を見ると、なんとタオルが入っているクローゼットがありました。
クローゼットのドアは洗面所のドアの裏側に設置されていたので、洗面所のドアが開いている状態ではクローゼットのドアは見えないのです。

タオルが入っているクローゼットのドアは隠れたドアですが、聖書によると天国のドアは隱れていません。
なぜなら、ヨハネの福音書10:9でキリストは「わたしは門です。だれでも、わたしを通ってはいるなら、救われます。また安らかに出入りし、牧草を見つけます。」
と言われたからです。

「わたしは門です。」 英語の聖書には「I am the door.」と書いてあります。罪の罰から

救われて、天国に入りたい人は、天国のドアであるキリストを信じてください。
天国へのドアは他にはありません。
「イエスは彼に言われた。「わたしが道であり、真理であり、いのちなのです。わたしを通してでなければ、だれひとり父のみもとに来ることはありません。」
ヨハネの福音書 14:6

　　　 

THE HIDDEN DOOR　

Last week I preached at Temple Baptist Church in New Castle Indiana. Right now the church does not have a pastor, so I stayed in the parsonage. I wanted to wash my face, but there was no towel in the bathroom. I opened the bathroom cabinet, but it was empty.

Then I searched the chest of drawers in the bedroom, but all of the drawers were empty. I opened all of the drawers in the kitchen, but there were no towels.

Finally, I called one of the deacons of the church and said, “There aren’t any towels.” He replied, “They are in the bathroom closet.” I went back to the bathroom. When I looked behind the bathroom door, there was a closet with towels. The closet door was hidden behind the bathroom door, so as long as the bathroom door was open, I could not see the closet door.

The door to the towel closet was hidden, but according to the Bible, the door to heaven is not hidden,
for in John 10:9 Jesus said,
I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

If you want to be saved from the penalty of your sins and enter heaven, believe in Jesus Christ. There is no other door to heaven.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
