東京に行って日曜日の朝に東京教会の牧師がホテルまで迎えに来てくださいました。
先生の車を見た時、私は戸惑いました。
なぜなら、車のフロントとリアガラスに英語で“Just married”と書いてあったからです。
（アメリカでは、新婚の車にこの文字をペイントする習慣があります）“Just married”の意味は「結婚ホヤホヤ」と言う意味です。
前日、牧師は結婚したばかりの娘さんと新夫をその車でホテルに送りました。だから、その文字がまだ車に残っていました。

最近、同性結婚が増えています。車に乗ってから、私は顔を隠しました。なぜなら、この車を見る人が私と先生が結婚したばかりだと思われたら、とても恥ずかしいからです。
教会に行く途中、私は、いたずらをしました。先生の左腕を組んで、女性の声で耳元に「あなた～」ささやきました。牧師も私も大笑いをしました。

牧師と私が“Just married”と書いてある車に乗ったのは笑い話ですが聖書によると同性結婚は笑い事ではありません。
神様に定められた結婚は男性と女性の結婚です。
「こうして神である主は、人から取ったあばら骨を、ひとりの女に造り上げ、その女を人のところに連れて来られた。」創世記2:22

「しかし、創造の初めから、神は、人を男と女に造られたのです。 それゆえ、人はその父と母を離れて、ふたりの者が一心同体になるのです。」
マルコの福音書10:6～8

ローマ人への手紙に人類の堕落が詳しく説明されています。
その説明の中にこの言葉が書いてあります。
「こういうわけで、神は彼らを恥ずべき情欲に引き渡されました。すなわち、女は自然の用を不自然なものに代え、 同じように、男も、女の自然な用を捨てて男どうしで情欲に燃え、男が男と恥ずべきことを行なうようになり、こうしてその誤りに対する当然の報いを自分の身に受けているのです。 」ローマ人への手紙1:26～27

聖書的な結婚は、一人の男性と一人の女性の結婚です。

　　　 

JUST MARRIED　

On Sunday Morning, Pastor Saitoh of the Tokyo Bible Baptist Church came to pick me up at the hotel. When I saw his car, I was troubled. The words [just married] were written on both the windshield and the rear window. (In America, it is a custom to do this.) The day before, Pastor Saitoh had used that car to take his daughter, who had just been married, and her husband to the hotel, so the words were still on the car.

Lately same-sex marriages have been increasing, so when I got into the car, I hid my face. If someone who saw that car thought that Saitoh Sensei and I had just gotten married, I would be very embarrassed. On the way to church, I thought of something funny to do. I put my right arm around Saitoh Sensei, and in a woman’s voice, I said, “Sweetheart.” Both Saitoh Sensei and I roared with laughter.

Saitoh Sensei and I riding in a car with the words [just married] written on it was a laughing matter; however, same-sex marriages are no laughing matter. The marriage that was established by God was the marriage of one man and one woman.
And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her to the man. (Genesis 2:22)

But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they twain shall be one flesh.
(Mark 10:6-8)

In the book of Romans, the depravity of mankind is explained in detail. These words are written in that explanation:
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (1:26-27)

A Biblical marriage is the marriage of one man and one woman.
