期限切れの保証書

最近、寒くなってきたのに、家のエアコンが故障で効かなくなりました。
毎晩、私は毛布に包まり寒い部屋で座ってテレビを見ています。

そして電気屋に来てもらいました。私が思った通り、修理が必要でした。電気屋は「いつ頃、このエアコンを購入しましたか？」と聞きました。私はいつ頃、購入したか覚えていなかったので、電気屋は店に戻って調べて下さいました。結果は、私が望んでいる答えではありませんでした。保証は５年間で、そのエアコンを６年前に購入していて、保証書は期限切れとなっていました。

この世の物の保証書は、すべて遅かれ早かれ期限切れとなります。神様が下さる祝福は、キリストを信じる人に対して決して期限切れとはなりません。

まず、私達に対する神様の愛は期限切れとはなりません。
「永遠の愛をもって、わたしはあなたを愛した。」
エレミヤ書31:3

私達に対する神様の恵みは期限切れとはなりません。
「主はまことにいつくしみ深い。その恵みはとこしえまで。」詩篇107:1

神様が私達に与えて下さる救いは期限切れとはなりません。
ヘブル人への手紙5:9によると、キリストは「彼に従うすべての人々にとこしえの救いを与える」ものです。

神様が私達に与えて下さる命は期限切れとはなりません。
「神の下さる賜物は、私たちの主キリストイエスにある永遠のいのちです。」
ローマ人への手紙6:23

永遠の愛、永遠の恵み、永遠の救い、永遠の命です。 ハレルヤ！
この素晴らしい祝福を与えて下さる神様の保証書は永遠です。 決して期限切れとはなりません。

　　　 

THE EXPIRED GUARANTEE　

Although it is getting colder, the air conditioner at my house is broken, so each night I wrap a blanket around myself and sit in a cold room and watch TV.

I had the electrician come. Just as I thought, it needs to be repaired. The electrician asked me, “When did you buy this air conditioner?” I do not remember when I bought it, so he went back to his store and checked. The answer was not the answer I was hoping for. The guarantee is a 5-year guarantee, but I bought the air conditioner 6 years ago, so the guarantee has expired.

The guarantees on all the things of this world will expire sooner or later, but the blessings that God gives to those who believe in Christ will never expire.

First of all, God’s love to us will never expire.
I have loved thee with an everlasting love.
(Jeremiah 31:3)

God’s mercy to us will never expire.
The Lord is good. His mercy endureth forever.
(Psalm 107:1)

The salvation that God gives to us will never expire. According to Hebrews 5:9,
Jesus became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.

The life that God gives to us will never expire.
The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

Eternal love, eternal mercy, eternal salvation, eternal life! Hallelujah!
The guarantee of God who gave us these wonderful blessings is an eternal guarantee. It will never expire.
