変化は嫌です！

変化を受け入れるのに抵抗がある人は多いと思います。
特に変化を嫌がる年寄りは多い。私もその一人です。
去年、私がいつも通っているスーパーマーケットは改装のため1日閉店しました。
そして新装開店して行った時、ほとんどの商品陳列台の配置が変わってしまいました。
その日の買物はいつもの2倍ほど時間がかかりました。
その変化に慣れるのに１ヵ月程かかりました。

皆さんも、私と同じように、変化を受けいれるのに抵抗がある人は次の三つの真実を喜んでください。

【第１に、神様は変わる事がありません】
マラキ書3:6で神様は言われまた。
「主であるわたしは変わることがない。」
また、ヤコブの手紙1:17によると
「神様に移り変わりや、移り行く影はありません」
ヘブル人への手紙13:8に
「子なる神様であるイエス・キリストも変わる事がない」と書いてあります。
「イエス・キリストは、きのうもきょうも、いつまでも、同じです。」

【第２に、神様の愛は変わりません】
多くの人は、正しい事をする時、神様は私たちを愛してくださるが、私たちが悪い事をする時、神様は、もう私たちを愛してくださらないと思っています。それは思い違いです。
エレミヤ書31:3によると
「私たちに対する神様の愛は変わる事のない永遠の愛です」

【第３に、神様の約束は変わりません】
民数記23:19に
「神は言われたことを、なさらないだろうか。約束されたことを成し遂げられないだろうか。」と書いてあります。

驚くほどの速いスピードでどんどん変わって行く世の中、私たちは時々不安を覚えるかも知れませんが、安心してください。
私たちが信じている神様は変わらない。
私たちに救いを与えてくださった神様の愛は変わらない。
私たちに永遠の命を保証した神様の約束も変わりません。

　　　 

I DO NOT LIKE CHANGE！

Many people find it hard to accept change. Elderly people especially do not like change. I am one of them. Recently the supermarket where I always go closed for one day to remodel. The next time I went, the place of many of the products had changed. My shopping that day took almost as twice as long. It took me almost two months to get used to the changes.

If, like me, you too find it hard to accept change, rejoice over the following three truths.

First, God does not change. In Malachi 3:6 God said,
I am the LORD, I do not change.
Also, according to James 1:17, there is not even a shadow of change in God. Furthermore, in Hebrews 13:8 it is written that God the Son, Jesus Christ, does not change.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Second, the love of God does not change. Many people think that God loves us when we do what is right but does not love us anymore when we do what is wrong. That is a mistaken idea. According to Jeremiah 31:3, the love of God to us is an eternal love that does not change.

Third, the promises of God do not change. In Numbers 23:19 it is written,
Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

We live in a world that is changing at an alarming speed, so there may be times when we feel anxious; however, be at ease.
The God in whom we believe will not change,
the love of God that gave salvation to us will not change,
and the promises of God that guarantee eternal life to us will not change.
