今、私はとても困っています。
それは新しい車を買った時、古い車の処分を自動車販売店に依頼しました。
「住民票が必要です」と言われたので小倉南区役所に行って住民票をもらいました。
しかし、古い車の車検証の住所は以前の八幡西区の住所たったので「現在の住所も以前の住所も書いてある住民票が必要です」と言われました。

私は、再び小倉南区役所に行って、両方の住所が書いてある住民票を依頼したけど「ここにはあなたの以前の住所の情報がありません。住民票を出す事ができません」と言われました。

その後、私が40年間住んでいた八幡西区役所にも行ったが、そこでも同じ事を言われました。
私が2012年まで八幡西区に住んでいた事を証明する書類を東京の法務局に依頼しなければなりませんでした。
その書類が送って来るまで、古い車の税金も新しい車の税金も払わなければならないので、とても困っています。

小倉南区と八幡西区の区役所にも私の情報がありません。 私の情報が神様の「いのちの書」に書いてある事を感謝します。
その「いのちの書」に「ケン・ボードは1955年8月3日にキリストを信じました」と書いてあります。
もし、あなたもキリストを信じているなら、あなたの名前も「いのちの書」に書いてあります。
感謝を持って喜んでください。

「悪霊どもがあなたがたに服従するからといって、喜んではなりません。ただあなたがたの名が天に書きしるされていることを喜びなさい。」ルカの福音書10:20

　　　 

PROOF OF RESIDENCE　

I am quite upset right now. When I bought my new car, I asked the dealer to dispose of my old car. He said he would need proof of residence, so I went to the South Kokura Ward Office and received a proof of residence form.

However, the address on the inspection certificate of the old car is my former address in West Yahata Ward, so I was told that I needed a proof of residence form with both addresses.

I went back to the South Kokura Ward Office, but I was told that they did not have any information about my previous address, so they could not issue me a proof of residence form. After that, I went to the Ward Office in West Yahata where I lived for more than 40 years, but I was told the same thing there.

In order to prove that I lived in West Yahata Ward until 2012, I had to apply to the Ministry of Justice in Tokyo. Until that document comes, I have to pay taxes on both the old car and the new car, so I am quite upset.

Although the Ward Offices in South Kokura and West Yahata have no record of my residence before 2012, I am thankful that there is a record of me in God’s Book of Life. In the Book of Life it is written, “Ken Board believed in Christ on August 3, 1955.”

If you too believe in Christ, rejoice with thanksgiving that your name too is written in the Book of Life.
Do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven. (Luke 10:20)

もし皆さんが我が家に来たら、不思議な事に気が付くと思います。それは私の机の上に２つのミニカーが置いてあるからです。
１つは白い8人乗りのワゴン車です。
もう１つは黄色のモンスタートラックです。

去年アメリカに行った時、黄色のモンスタートラックを孫ヨシュアからもらいました。それは彼の大好きなミニカーでしたが、彼はそれを私にくれました。
今。そのミニカーを見る度に、私は孫のヨシュアを思い出します。

鹿児島に住んでいる孫ノアは私に白い和琴をくれました。
そのミニカーは私の車とソックリだったので、ノアは「このミニカーはおじいちゃんの車に似ているので差し上げます」と言いました。
現在そのミニカーを見る度に私は孫のノアを思い出します。

今日は、クリスチャンがキリストの復活を祝う日（イースター）です。
キリストは、私達に御自分を思い出すものを３つ残してくださいました。

第１に、キリストは空の墓を残してくだしました。
御使いは女たちに言った。「恐れてはいけません。あなたがたが十字架につけられたイエスを捜しているのを、私は知っています。 ここにはおられません。前から言っておられたように、よみがえられたからです。来て、納めてあった場所を見てごらんなさい。」
マタイの福音書28:5-6

第２に、キリストは素晴らしい約束を残してくださいました。
「イエスは言われた。「わたしは、よみがえりです。いのちです。わたしを信じる者は、死んでも生きるのです。 また、生きていてわたしを信じる者は、決して死ぬことがありません。」
ヨハネの福音書11:25-26

第３に、キリストは生ける望みを残してくださいました。
「私たちの主イエス・キリストの父なる神がほめたたえられますように。神は、ご自分の大きなあわれみのゆえに、イエス・キリストが死者の中からよみがえられたことによって、私たちを新しく生まれさせて、生ける望みを持つようにしてくださいました。」

TWO TOY CARS　

If you came to my home, you might notice something strange. There are two toy cars on my desk. One is a white 8-passenger van. The other one is a yellow monster truck.

When I went to America last year, I received the yellow monster truck from my grandson, Josiah. It was one of his favorite toy cars, but he gave it to me. Now, whenever I look at that toy car, I remember Josiah.

My grandson Noa, who lives in Kagoshima, gave the white van to me. That toy car looked just like my car, so Noa said, “Grandpa, this toy car looks like your car, so I will give it to you.” Now, whenever I look at that toy car, I remember Noa.

Today is the day that Christians celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Christ left us three things for us to remember Him.

First, He left us an empty tomb.
But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” (Matthew 28:5-6)

Second, Christ left us a wonderful promise.
I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. (John 11:25-26)

Third, Christ left us a living hope.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

近所の人が質問しました。「車の車検を受けましたか？」
私は「はい」と答えました。
そして彼は言いました。「フロントガラスに貼るシールはどこですか？　それがないと、あなたは警察に捕まって、罰金を支払わなければなりませんよ！」

私はそのシールをもらった事を覚えていましたが、家・車・カバンの中・上着のポケット等を探し回ったけど、そのシールを見つける事ができませんでした。
車のダッシュボードの中に車検証が入っているけど、車の外部には車検シールが貼ってないので車検の証明ができませんでした。

ヤコブの手紙によると、私たちの信仰も同じです。私たちの心の中にキリストを信じる信仰がありますが、外部の人たちは私たちの心の中を見る事ができません。私たちの信仰を証明する「行いや証し」が必要です。
こう言う人もあるでしょう。「あなたは信仰を持っているが、私は行ないを持っています。行ないのないあなたの信仰を、私に見せてください。私は、行ないによって、私の信仰をあなたに見せてあげます。」
ヤコブの手紙2:18

私たちが家族や友達にキリストに対する信仰を口で告白しても、彼等に見られる「行いや証し」がなければ、彼等は私たちが本当にクリスチャンであるか疑うかも知れません。
クリスチャンが聖書の教えに従う時、その「行ないや証し」は車に貼る車検シールのような物です。

「あなたがたの光を人々の前で輝かせ、人々があなたがたの良い行ないを見て、天におられるあなたがたの父をあがめるようにしなさい。」マタイの福音書5:16

　　 

PROOF OF INSPECTION　

My neighbor asked me, “Did your get your car inspected?” I replied, “Yes.” Then he said, “Where is the sticker that you stick on your windshield? If you do not have that, you may be stopped by the police and have to pay a fine.”

I remembered receiving the sticker, but when I searched in my home, my car, my briefcase, and my coat pocket, I could not find the sticker. I had my inspection certificate in the glove compartment of my car, but people on the outside of the car could not know if I had the car inspected or not.

According to the Epistle of James, our faith is the same. In our heart we have faith in Christ, but people on the outside of us cannot see inside our heart, so work that proves our faith is necessary.

But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
(James 2:18)

We may confess our faith in Christ to our family and friends, but if there is no work that can be seen by them, the possibility is strong that they may doubt whether we are truly a Christian or not. When a Christian obeys the teaching of the Bible, his works are like an inspection sticker that he sticks on his car.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)

毎朝、私は朝食と一緒にオレンジジュースを飲みます。
先日、ジュースをコップに入れた時、私はその色に気が付きました。いつものより薄い色で、それを飲んでみました。すると、いつものとは違う味でした。
「何か変だな～」と思いました。
私は、ジュースの紙パッケージを見てビックリしました。パッケージのデザインは、いつも買っているオレンジジュースと殆どそっくりでしたが、それはオレンジジュースではありませんでした。フルーツミックスジュースでした。
私は「どんな果物が入っているのかな～」と思って原材料名を見ました。
リンゴ・オレンジ・桃・バナナ「バナナ！」私は、バナナのアレルギーがあります。
その瞬間、飲んだジュースを吐き出しそうになりましたが、思いとどまりました。
私は殆どそっくりのパッケージによって騙されました。

同じように、現在、多くのクリスチャンは聖書的にそっくりな教えによって騙されています。
その教理を教えている教師たちは聖書を使っているし、彼らの会堂の玄関には「〇〇教会」と看板が掲げられています。
しかし、彼らの話を聞くと「何か変だな～」と感じます。

例えば最近、創世記の11章を攻撃している教師たちが増えています。
彼らは、その箇所が歴史的な出来事ではなくて、神話のような文学と教えています。

聖書はこの出来事を預言しました。
「人々が健全な教えに耳を貸そうとせず、自分につごうの良いことを言ってもらうために、気ままな願いをもって、次々に教師たちを自分たちのために寄せ集め、 真理から耳をそむけ、空想話にそれて行くような時代になるからです。」Ⅱテモテへの手紙４:3-4

今から、オレンジジュースを買う時、私は中身を確かめるつもりです。
皆さんも聖書を手に持っている教師の話を聞く前に、その中身を吟味してください。

　　　 

SOMETHING IS STRANGE　

Every morning I drink some orange juice with my breakfast. The other day when I poured the orange juice into the glass, I noticed the color of the juice. It was not as orange as usual. I drank some of the juice. The taste was different too. I thought, “Something is strange.”

I looked at the carton and was surprised. The carton was almost identical to the carton of orange juice that I buy, but it was not orange juice. It was a fruit mix.

Wondering what kind of fruit what in the fruit mix, I looked at the ingredients. Apple, orange, peach and banana – banana! I am allergic to bananas. For a second or two, I felt like throwing up, but I was okay.

I was deceived by the carton that was almost identical. In the same way, in these days many Christians are being deceived by teaching that is almost identical to Biblical teaching. Those teachers hold a Bible in their hands, and on the sign outside the building there is the word “church,” but when you listen to their teaching, you sense something is strange.

For example, lately the teachers who attack the first eleven chapters of Genesis are increasing. They teach that the events of the first eleven chapters of Genesis are not historical events but mythical literature. The Bible prophesied this event.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables.
(Second Timothy 4:3-4)

From now on, when I buy juice, I intend to verify the content. All of you too, before you swallow the message of a teacher holding a Bible in his hand, verify the content.
