私の一日は、おいしいホットコーヒーで始まります。
それは友達から貰ったコーヒーメーカーで作るコーヒーです。
そのコーヒーの最初の一口はとてもおいしいです。
コーヒーを飲みながら聖書を読んだり、祈ったり、メールをチェック等します。

しかし、先日コーヒーを作ろうとした時、コーヒーメーカーからコーヒーが全く出ませんでした。私は「Oh No ! コーヒーメーカーが壊れた！」と叫び、すごくガッカリしました。
ホットコーヒーで始まらないのは、いやな一日です。

その時、思いました。「もしかしたら…」私はコーヒーメーカーの水を入れるタンクを見ました。やはりカラッポでした。
他の事で忙しくなって、コーヒーメーカーに水を入れるのを忘れていました。

時々、多くのクリスチャンも同じような事をします。彼らは、この世の事で忙しくなって、魂に水を入れるのを忘れます。
魂の水は神様の言葉です。エペソ人への手紙5:26で神様の言葉は水と例えられています。
「みことばにより、水の洗いをもって」と書いてあります。

朝の最初の一杯のコーヒーが体に元気をつけるように御言葉の水は魂に力を与えます。クリスチャンをすべての良い働きのためにふさわしい充分に整えられた者にされるは神様の言葉です。（Ⅱテモテ3:16-17）また、エペソ人への手紙6:17によると、魂にこの世にある多くの敵と戦うための剣となるものは神様の言葉です。（エペソ人への手紙6:17）

毎朝、水から作られたおいしいコーヒーを飲む時、魂のための水である聖書も読みましょう。

　　　 

NO WATER = NO COFFEE 

Everyday my day begins with some delicious hot coffee. It is coffee made with a coffeemaker that I received from a friend. The first sip of that coffee is very delicious. While drinking the coffee, I read the Bible, pray, and check my email.

However, the other day, when I tried to make some coffee, no coffee would come out of the coffeemaker. I thought, “Oh No! The coffeemaker is broken.” A day that does not begin with hot coffee is a bad day.

Just then, I thought, “Maybe ……” I checked the water tank on the coffeemaker. It was empty.
I had become busy with other things and forgotten to put water into the coffeemaker.

Sometimes many Christians do the same kind of thing. They become busy with the affairs of this world and forget to put water into their souls. The water of the soul is the Word of God. In Ephesians 5:26 the Word of God is compared to water. The washing of water by the word.

Just as the morning cup of coffee refreshes the body, the water of the Word gives strength to the soul. It is the Word of God that makes the Christian thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (Second Timothy 3:16-17) Also, it is the Word of God that becomes the sword with which the soul fights all the enemies out in the world.
(Ephesians 6:17)

Every morning, when we drink our coffee that was made with water, let us also drink some water for our soul.
