長野県上田市に日本で有名な別所温泉があります。
この温泉は、日本で最も古い温泉の一つです。
この温泉水は、皮膚を美しくするので、多くの女性たちに人気があります。

上田駅から別所温泉に行く電車も多くの人々に人気があります。この路線は上田駅から別所温泉駅の間（11.6km)だけを走る電車です。
先月、上田市に行ったときこの電車に乗りました。

電車が駅に着いたとき、私は一つのことにびっくりしました。
開いているドアは一つしかありませんでした。
電車を降りるために電車の後方からずっと前方まで行って、その開いている一つだけのドアから降りなければなりませんでした。

駅から上田教会まで歩きながら、私はヨハネの福音書10:9に書いてあるキリストの言葉を思い巡らしていました。
「わたしは門です。誰でも、わたしを通してはいるなら、すくわれます。」　

ある人々は良い行いのドアから天国に入ろうとしますが、エペソ人への手紙2:8-9によると、誰も行いによって天国に入ることはできません。

ある人々は、バプテスマのような儀式のドアから天国に入ろうとします。
しかし、Ⅰペテロの手紙3:21に「バプテスマは肉体の汚れを取り除くものではありません」と書いてあります。

天国へのドアは行いや儀式ではなく人です。
十字架の上で私たちの罪のために死んでくださったキリストです。
ヨハネの福音書14:6でキリストは言われました。
「わたしを通してでなければ、だれひとり父のみもと（天国）に来ることはありません。」ONE DOOR !

　　　   

ONE DOOR 

There is a famous hot spring called Bessho Hot Spring near Ueda City in Nagano Prefecture. It is one of the oldest hot springs in Japan and the oldest hot spring in Nagano Prefecture. The water of this hot spring makes the skin more beautiful, so it is popular with ladies.

The train that runs from Ueda to Bessho Hot Spring is popular too. This train runs only between Ueda Station and the Bessho Hot Spring Station (11.6km). When I went to Ueda last month, I rode this train.

When the train stopped at my station, there was one thing that surprised me. There was only one open door. I had to walk from the back of the train all the way to the front to get off the train.

As I walked from the station to the church, I pondered the words of Christ in John 10:9. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved.

Some people try to enter heaven by the door of good works, but according to Ephesians 2:8-9, no one can enter heaven by their good works.

Some people try to enter heaven through ceremonies like baptism; however, in First Peter 3:21 the Bible teaches that baptism is not the putting away of the filth of the flesh.

The door to heaven is not good works or a ceremony. It is a person. It is Christ who died on the cross for our sins.
In John 14:6 Christ said, No one comes to the Father (heaven) except through me. ONE DOOR !
