神様に喜ばれるクリスチャンになるために私たちは「教会に行かなければならないでしょうか？」
今日、多くの人は「いいえ」と答えます。
「私は、クリスチャンです」と言いながら彼らは教会に行きません。教会名を「OO  ～教会」という文字を消して付ける教会が増えています。

「クリスチャンにとって、教会に行くことは大切でしょうか？」と言う質問の答えを聖書から見ましょう。

第1にマタイの福音書16:18でキリストは言われました。
「わたしの教会を建てます」
教会は、人間によって設立されたものではありません。
キリストご自身が教会を立てました。
キリストが立てた組織は、一つしかありません。教会です。

第２にキリストは、教会のために死んでくださいました。
「神がご自身の血をもって買い取られた神の教会」
使徒の働き20:28
血をもって死なれました。

第3にキリストは、教会を愛しておられます。
「キリストが教会を愛し、教会のためにご自身をささげられた。」エペソ人への手紙5:25

もし教会は、キリストご自身が立てた教会であれば、またキリストが教会のために死んでくださったならば、またキリストが教会を愛しておられるなら、クリスチャンも教会を愛して大切にすべきではありませんか。

最初の質問に戻りましょう。

THE CHRISTIAN AND THE CHURCH

Does a Christian have to go to church to be a Christian who is pleasing to the Lord? These days many people would answer, “No.” While professing to be a Christian, they do not go to church. The churches that have removed [church] from their name are increasing.

Is it important for a Christian to go to church? Let us have the Bible answer this question.

First, in Matthew 16:18 Christ said, I will build my church. The church was not established by man. Christ Himself established the church. Christ established only one organization – the church.

Second, Christ died for the church. The church of God which He purchased with His own blood.
(Acts 20:28)
God the Son Jesus Christ shed His blood for the church on the cross.

Third, Christ loves the church.
Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her. (Ephesians 5:25)

If the church was established by Christ, if Christ died for the church, and if Christ loves the church, shouldn’t Christians love the church and make it important.

Let us go back to the original question. Does a Christian have to go to church to be a Christian who is pleasing to the Lord? The answer of the Bible is, “YES.”
