今、彼は見える！

1982年頃、その時一緒にいた牧師は、私に話を持ち掛けてきました。「一緒に開拓伝道をしませんか？」
そして私は賛成しました。
ある日彼は、私を甘木市（現在：朝倉市）に連れて行ってくれました。
その日、初めて稲本兄姉御夫妻に会いました。
二人とも視覚障害者でした。

稲本兄は、自宅で鍼灸院の仕事をしていました。
一緒に行った牧師は、その鍼灸院の一室で聖書の学びと祈り会をして家庭集会が始まり毎週、集会を催しました。
これが私と稲本兄との38年間の交わりの始まりでした。
私と一緒に甘木市に行く人は、何度も変わりましたが、牧師が与えられるまで私は毎週、甘木市まで通いました。

稲本兄は、フルートの奏楽がとても上手でした。
私は、彼のフルートの特別賛美によって大変恵まれました。
涙が出るほど感動し祝福も受けた事も多々ありました。

そして5月28日に稲本兄は、天に召されました。
今、彼は見える。彼よりも先に天に召された奥さんと初めてお互いに顔を見ることができました。

神様がキリストを信じる人々のために用意しておられる天国は、なんというすばらしい場所でしょうか！

「盲人の目は開かれ、耳しい者の耳はあけられる。足なえは鹿のようにとびはね、おしの舌は喜び歌う。」

HE CAN SEE NOW！　

Somewhere around 1982 another pastor asked me, “Would you like to do some pioneer evangelism together?” I agreed, so one day he took me to Amagi. That day I met Brother Inamoto and Sister Inamoto for the first time. Both of them were blind.

Brother Inamoto did acupuncture work in a room in his house, so the other pastor and I decided to begin a weekly Bible study in that room. This was the beginning of my 38-year-long fellowship with Brother Inamoto. The people who went with me to Amagi changed many times, but until a pastor came to the Amagi church, I went every week for many years.

Brother Inamoto could play the flute very skillfully. I was often greatly blessed by his special music. There were many times when I was so blessed that I cried.

On May the 28th Brother Inamoto went home to be with the Lord. He can see now. He and his wife, who had already gone home to be with the Lord, were able to see each other’s face for the first time.

How wonderful is the place that God is preparing for every person who believes in Christ!
The eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. The lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing.
(Isaiah 35:5-6)
