風の電話

私は「風の電話」という悲しい記事を読みました。この「風の電話」は、東京から北東500kmの大槌町にあります。
2010年に佐々木格（いたる）さん（74）は、亡くなった遺族と話したいと思いこれを発案し、そこで自分の庭に電話ボックスを設置しました。

東日本大震災後、佐々木さんは、生存した人々が震災で亡くした家族への思いを風に乗せて伝えられるように敷地を整備して、海岸に向かう祈りのベンチを置きました。

今、風の電話は、津波の被災者だけでなく、病気や自殺で親族を亡くした多くの人々に利用されています。
特に風の電話を使っている人は、亡くなった親戚に「さようなら」を言うことができなかった人達です。接続されていない電話は、残った家族にいくらかの慰めを与えます。

私は、風の電話についての話に感動しました。
もし私がクリスチャンでなかったら大槌町に行って、風の電話で妻への言葉を風に乗せるかもしれません。
しかし、私はクリスチャンなので接続されていない電話ではなく神様に直接祈るという電話を通して慰めを受ける事ができます。

エペソ人への手紙3:12によると
「私たちはこのキリストにあり、キリストを信じる信仰によって大胆に確信をもって神に近づくことができるのです。」
英語の聖書には「私たちはキリストを信じる信仰によって神にアクセスすることができます。」とあります。
クリスチャンは、いつでも、どこでも、祈りの電話によって神様に連絡することができるのです。

「夕、朝、真昼、私は嘆き、うめく。すると、主は私の声を聞いてくださる。」詩篇55:17

　 　


THE WIND PHONE

I read a sad article about a phone called the “wind phone.”This phone is in the town of Otsuchi 500 kilometers northeast of Tokyo.
In 2010 a man who had lost his cousin to cancer wanted to speak to him, so he set up a telephone booth in his garden.
After the great earthquake of 2011, he placed a bench facing the sea for survivors to come and send a message to their family on the wind.

Now, in addition to the survivors, the wind phone is used by many relatives of people who died by sickness or suicide.
The wind phone is especially used by people who were not able to say “Good-bye” to their loved ones.
The phone, which is not connected, gives comfort to the family members left behind.

I was moved by the story of the wind phone.
If I were not a Christian, I might go to Otsuchi and send a message on the wind to my wife.
However, because I am a Christian, rather than a phone that is not connected, I would rather receive comfort through a phone that is connected to God through prayer.

According to Ephesians 3:12, we have access to God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Christians can contact God any time, anywhere, through the phone of prayer.

Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.
(Psalm 55:17)
