医師、木俣肇先生の研究結果によると、キスする事は精神的なストレスを軽減する力があります。また、キスはアレルギーの苦しみを和らげる事に役に立つそうです。

木俣先生の実験に参加した夫婦は静かな音楽を聞きながら30分間キスをしました。
その実験の結果によると、キスの後、患者にはアレルギー反応を起こす抗体のレベルが下がりました。
木俣先生が望んでいる事はアレルギーに苦しんでいる人が生まれつきの感情を通してアレルギー反応を減らす事です。

聖書もキスする事を勧めています。使徒パウロは教会への手紙の中で４回もクリスチャンにキスする事を命令しました。
例えば、ローマ人への手紙16:16で
「あなたがたは聖なる口づけをもって互いのあいさつをかわしなさい。」と書いてあります。

使徒ペテロも自分のⅠペテロの手紙5:14で
同じ命令を書きました。
「愛の口づけをもって互いにあいさつをかわしなさい。」

今までこの命令を無視していた私は今週から教会に来る一人ひとりの姉妹にキスをするつもりです。
（姉妹達、安心して下さい。冗談です。）

もちろん、当時のクリスチャンにとって、口づけは挨拶の方法でした。もしパウロが現代の教会に手紙を送ったら、日本の教会に「聖なる御辞儀をして挨拶を交わしなさい」と書くでしょう。また、アメリカの教会に「聖なる握手をして挨拶を交わしなさい」と書くでしょう。

もちろん、口づけは単なる挨拶ではありませんでした。愛を示す方法でした。挨拶の方法はどんな方法であっても、クリスチャンにとって神様の聖なる愛に基づいているお互いの間を全ての人に見せる事が大切です。

「あなたがたに新しい戒めを与えましょう。あなたがたは互いに愛し合いなさい。わたしがあなたがたを愛したように、そのように、あなたがたも互いに愛し合いなさい。 もしあなたがたの互いの間に愛があるなら、それによって、あなたがたがわたしの弟子であることを、すべての人が認めるのです。」ヨハネの福音13:34～35

　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

The Benefits of Kissing

According to the results of the research of a Japanese doctor name Hajime Kimata, in kissing there is the power to reduce mental stress. Also, kissing is helpful in relieving the suffering associated with allergies.

The couples who participated in Dr. Kimata’s experiment kissed for 30 minutes while listening to soft music. According to the results of the experiment, after kissing, the level of the antibodies that cause allergic reactions in patients was lower. Dr. Kimata hopes that people who suffer from allergies will be able to reduce their allergic reactions through natural emotions.

The Bible promotes kissing too. In his letters to the churches, four times the apostle Paul commanded Christians to kiss. For example, in Romans 16:16 it is written, “Greet one another with a holy kiss.” In 5:14 in his first letter, Peter wrote the same command.
“Greet one another with a kiss of love.” Until now I have been ignoring this command, but starting this week, I intend to kiss every lady who comes to church. (Relax, ladies. It’s just a joke.)

Of course, to the Christians of those days, the kiss was a method of greeting. If Paul wrote a letter to the churches of this age, he would probably write to the Japanese church, “Greet one another with a bow of love,” and he would probably write to the American church,
“Greet one another with a handshake of love.”

Of course, the kiss was more than just a greeting. It was a method of showing love. No matter what method of greeting it may be, it is very important for Christians to show to everyone love to each other that is based on God’s holy love.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
(John 13:34-35)
