年賀状が、たった５枚

　　　　
今年の年賀状は、 何枚届きましたか。 私は、たった５枚でした。
１枚は、息子からでした。他の４枚は、ダスキンと保険会社と病院の先生などからでした。
なぜ私は、たった５枚の年賀状だったかりますか。私は、年賀状を出さないからです。１枚も出しませんでした。
やはり年賀状を出さない人は、年賀状をもらえません。

年賀状を出さない人は、年賀状をもらえない事が、聖書の中で、その大切な原則が示されています。
この原則は「収穫の法則」と呼ばれています。
この法則を説明する聖書の箇所は、
Ⅱコリント人への手紙9:6です。
「少しだけ蒔く者は、少しだけ刈り取り、豊かに蒔く者は、豊かに刈り取ります。」

もちろん、これは農業の例です。
どんな野菜や果物であっても、豊作を望んでいる人は、多くの種を蒔かなければなりません。

私たちは、この原則を人生のあらゆる方面に当てはめる事ができます。
例えば、 友達が欲しい人は、他の人に親しむ努力をしなければなりません。他人に自分に親切を示して欲しい人は、親切を示す人にならなければなりません。愛を求めている人は、他人に愛を与える人とならなければなりません。

特に、この大事な原則を覚えるべき人は、夫婦です。私達が夫や妻に何かを求めているなら、まず私たちは相手にそれを与えなければなりません。
「収穫の法則」を要約する有名な言葉があります。
「黄金律」と呼ばれているキリストの言葉です。
「自分にしてもらいたいと望むとおり、
　　　　　　　人にもそのようにしなさい。」
　　　　　　　　　　　　　ルカの福音書6:31

How many New Year cards did you receive? I received only four. One was from my son. The other three were from Duskin and the insurance company and my doctor.

Do you know why I received only four New Year cards? It’s because I didn’t send any New Year cards. I didn’t send even one. Of course, a person who doesn’t send any New Year cards doesn’t receive any.

The fact that a person who doesn’t send any New Year cards won’t receive any New Year cards illustrates an important principle that appears often in the Bible. This principle is called
“the law of the harvest.”
The Bible passage that explains this law is
Second Corinthians 9:6.
He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Of course, this is an agricultural illustration. No matter what kind of vegetable or fruit it may be, the person who hopes for a bountiful harvest must sow many seeds.

We can apply this principle to many areas of life too. For example, the person who wants friends must be friendly. The person who wants others to be kind to him must show kindness to others. The person who is seeking love must give love to others.

Married couples in particular should remember this important principle. If we are seeking something from our husband or wife, first we must give that to our partner

There are famous words that sum up
“the law of the harvest.”
Those words are the words of Christ called
“the golden rule.”
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. (Luke 6:31)
