喉の治療と心の治療

私は、数ヶ月前から喉の調子が、あまり良くありません。説教の途中、喉が乾いて、声はかすれ声になります。
４月に調布教会の宣教大会で６回説教して、喉の調子が少し悪くなったので教会の方々は心配して下さり、いろんな治療方法を教えてくれました。
一人の教会員は、レモンジュースに蜂蜜を入れて飲む様に勧めてくれました。他の教会員は、うがいの方法を教えてくれました。 数人の教会員はいろんな「ミント」や「のど飴」を持って来て下さいました。私は喉の治療になる物をたくさん九州に持って帰ることが出来ました。

喉の病気の治療になる物は多いかも知れませんが、聖書によると心の病気の治療になるものは、一つしかありません。全ての人々は、心に罪と言う病気があります。

全ての人々が聖なる神様の御前で罪を犯している事は否定出来ない事実です。
人間は、宗教や良い行いや献金を通して神様に自分の罪を赦してもらおうとしますが、聖書によると、罪の赦しを受ける方法は一つしかありません。
それは、十字架につけられたキリストの体から流れた尊い血です。
聖書にこの真実を教える箇所がたくさんあります。

「私たちは、この御子のうちにあって、御子の血による
贖い、すなわち罪の赦しを受けているのです。
これは神の豊かな恵みによることです。」
エペソ人への手紙1:7

「ご承知のように、あなたがたが先祖から伝わったむなしい生き方から贖い出されたのは、銀や金のような朽ちる物にはよらず、 傷もなく汚れもない小羊のようなキリストの、尊い血によったのです。」Ⅰペテロの手紙1:18～19

「御子イエスの血はすべての罪から私たちをきよめます。」Ⅰヨハネの手紙1:7

もし今、喉や体の一部に傷みがあれば、薬屋に行って下さい。
治癒する薬がたくさんあります。
しかし、現在、心に傷みがあればイエス・キリストの元に来て下さい。
キリストだけがあなたの心を癒やす事が出来ます。

　　　　

REMEDIES FOR THE THROAT  
AND A REMEDY FOR THE HEART  

For the past couple of months, I have been having trouble with my throat. During the sermon, my throat becomes hoarse. When I spoke six times at the Missions Conference at the Chofu church in April, my throat was pretty bad, so the church people were worried about me and brought me various remedies.

One church member suggested drinking lemon juice mixed with honey. Another church member recommended gargling. Several church members brought me mints and throat lozenges. I returned to Kyushu with many remedies for my throat.

There may be many remedies for the throat, but according to the Bible, there is only one remedy for sickness in the heart. All people are afflicted with a heart disease called sin. It is an undeniable fact that all people have sinned before the Holy God. People try to get God to forgive their sins through religion or good works or offerings; however, according to the Bible, there is only way to receive the forgiveness of sins. That is the pure blood that flowed from the body of the crucified Christ. There are many passages in the Bible that teach this truth.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. (Ephesians 1:7)

Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. (First Peter 1:18-19)

The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. (First John 1:7)

If you have pain in your throat or some other place in your body, go to the drugstore. There are many medicines that will help you. But if you have pain in your heart, come to Jesus Christ. Christ alone can cure the sickness of your heart.
