金メダルを受けるクリスチャン

今月ブラジルで10,000人以上の選手達が一生懸命に金メダルを獲得しようとしています。
選手にとって、観客の前で IOC から金メダルを受けて、自国の国歌を聞く事はこの上もない経験でしょう。
しかし、クリスチャンはもっと素晴らしい経験をする事が出来ます。
クリスチャンは神様から金メダルを受ける事が出来ます。
しかし、神様から金メダルを受ける条件が５つあります。

１． あらゆる事について自制しなければなりません。
　　（Ⅰコリント人への手紙9:25）
２． ひたむきに前のものに向かって進み、目標を目指して一心に走らなければなりません。
　　（ピリピ人へ手紙3:13～14）
３． いっさいの重荷とまとわりつく罪を捨てなければなりません。（ヘブル人への手紙12：1）
４． 走り続けて自分の走るべき道のりを走り終えなければなりません。
　　（ヘブル人への手紙12:1・Ⅱテモテへの手紙4:7）
５． キリストから目を離してはいけません。
　　（ヘブル人への手紙12:2）

オリンピックの金メダルの価値を知っていますか？　
純金ではないので、メダルを溶かして金として売ると35,000円位の価値があります。
訓練に高額の金額を必要とする選手にとって、１千万円以上の価値があるそうです。
収集家にとって１億円以上の価値があるかも知れません。
ちなみに金メダルを獲得したアメリカの選手は政府から250万円の賞金をもらいます。

もし、人間から受けたメダルにこれほどの価値があるならば、クリスチャンが神様から受ける賞にどの位の価値と査定しましょうか。
人間の想像を超える価値ですから
「あなたも賞を受けられるように走りなさい」

CHRISTIANS WHO RECEIVE
A GOLD MEDAL　

This month in Brazil over 10,000 athletes are striving earnestly to win a gold medal. To an athlete, receiving a gold medal from the IOC and hearing your national anthem would be the ultimate experience. However, Christians can experience something even more wonderful. Christians can receive a gold medal from the Lord. However, there are five conditions for receiving a gold medal from the Lord.

1- be temperate in all things. (First Corinthians 9:25)

2- reach forth unto those things which are before and press toward the mark. (Philippians 3:13-14)

3- lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset you. (Hebrews 12:1)

4- keep running until you finish your course.
　(Hebrews 12:1 and Second Timothy 4:7)

5- keep your eyes on Christ. (Hebrews 12:2)

Do you know the value of the gold medal? It is not pure gold, so if you melted it and sold it as gold, it would be worth about $350. To the athlete who spends a great amount of money in training, it is said that the medal is worth $100,000. To a collector, it may be worth more than one million dollars. Each American who wins a gold medal receives $25,000 from the government.

If a medal received from man is this valuable, what value shall we assign to a medal received from God? It would be a value beyond all human imagination,
so run, that ye may obtain. (First Corinthians 9:24)
