半々の信仰

先日、ホテルのフロントの女性が私に教会についての
質問をしてきました。
少し説明してから、私は彼女に聞きました。
「教会に行った事がありますか」

そして、こんな返事がありました。
女性：息子はキリスト教の学校に行っているので、学校の集会に出た事があります。

KB：あなたはクリスチャンですか？

女性：家には仏壇があるので、私は半々です。

KB：半々の信仰では天国に行けませんよ。
聖書によると半々の信仰の人は、本当の信仰を持っていません。なぜなら聖書の確かな教えによると私達を救う事が出来るお方は一人しかいないからです。そのお方は十字架の上で私達の罪のために死んで下さったイエス・キリストです。

ヨハネの福音書14:6でキリストは言われました。
「わたしが道であり、真理であり、いのちなのです。わたしを通してでなければ、だれひとり父のみもとに来ることはありません。」

使徒の働き4:12に「この方以外には、だれによっても救いはありません。天の下でこの御名のほかに、私たちが救われるべき名は人に与えられていないからです。」
と書いてあります。

救われるために、キリスト＋他の誰かに頼る人の信仰は、半々の信仰です。
例えば、キリスト＋ブッダ、 キリスト＋マリヤ、 キリスト＋バプテスマ、 キリスト＋教会員になる事、 キリスト＋良い行い 罪の赦しを受けて天国に行くために、私達の信仰はキリストだけを信じる信仰でなければなりません。

HALF-AND-HALF FAITH　

The lady at the front desk of the hotel asked me a question about church. After explaining a little, I asked her, “Have you ever been to church?” This is the conversation that followed:

Lady: “My son goes to a Christian school, so I have attended some services there.”

KB: “Are you a Christian?”

Lady: “I have a Buddhist altar in my home, so I am half-and-half.”

KB: “Half-and-half won’t get you to heaven.”

According to the Bible, the person who has half-and-half faith does not have true faith, for according to the clear teaching of the Bible, there is only one person who can save us. That person is Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins.

In John 14:6, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

In Acts 4:12 it is written, Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

To rely on Christ plus someone else or something else for salvation is half-and-half faith. For example, Christ + Buddha, Christ + Mary, Christ + baptism, Christ + church membership, Christ + good works. In order to receive the forgiveness of sins and go to heaven, our faith must be faith that believes in Christ alone.
