「けど」クリスチャン

ヘブル人への手紙11章に彼等の信仰のゆえに賞賛された人達のリストがあります。
多くのクリスチャンにとって、その人達は“スーパー・クリスチャン”のような人達だから「私は、どんなに頑張っても、彼等の様な信者になる事は出来ない」と思っています。
しかし、ほとんど例外なく、その人達は少なくても一回大きな失敗をしました。

★方舟を作る命令を受けたノアはその命令に従ったけど、ある日彼はお酒を飲んで酔っ払ってしまいました。
（創世記9章）

★ヤコブの手紙2:23で、アブラハムは「神の友」と呼ばれましたけど、エジプトに行った時、彼は強くなって、パロに嘘をつきました。
（創世記12章）

★ヤコブはイスラエルの12部族の父であったけど、彼は自分の父を騙して、エサウの祝福を盜みました。
（創世記27章）

★モーセはイスラエル人をエジプトから導きましたけど、不信仰のために彼は約束された国に入る事が出来ませんでした。
(民数記20章）

★詩篇の大部分を書いたダビデはイスラエルの王になりましたけど、彼は姦淫の罪を犯しました。
（Ⅱサムエル記11章）

★主の霊が彼の上に降った時、サムソンはイスラエルの敵を破る事が出来ましたけど、彼はデリラに騙されました。
（士師記16章）

もし、油断したら私達も「けど」クリスチャンになってしまうかもしれません。「彼女は、長い間、忠実に主に仕えたけど…」
「彼は、しばらくの間、熱心に主のために働きましたけど…」

「ですから、立っていると思う者は、倒れないように気をつけなさい。」Ⅰコリント人への手紙10:12

　　　　

(BUT) CHRISTIANS　

In chapter eleven of the Epistle to the Hebrews there is a list of people who were commended for their faith. To many Christians, those people are like {Super Christians}, so they think, “No matter how hard I try, I could never be like them.” However, almost without exception, those people failed greatly at least once.

★When he was commanded to build the ark, Noah obeyed, BUT one day he drank wine and got drunk. (Genesis 9)

★In James 2:23 Abraham is called “the friend of God”, BUT when he went to Egypt, he became afraid and lied to Pharaoh.
(Genesis 12)

★Jacob is the father of the twelve tribes of Israel, BUT he deceived his father and stole the blessing of Esau. (Genesis 27)

★Moses led the people of Israel out of Egypt, BUT, because of his unbelief, he was not able to enter the promised land. (Numbers 20)

★David wrote many of the Psalms and became the king of Israel, BUT he committed the sin of adultery. (Second Samuel 11)

★When the Spirit of the Lord came upon him, Samson was able to defeat the enemies of Israel, BUT he was deceived by Delilah.
(Judges 16)

If we let down our guard, we too may become a [BUT Christian].
“She served the Lord faithfully for a long time, BUT……
.He worked faithfully for the Lord for a while, BUT…….”

Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. (First Corinthians 10:12)
