誰も出ません！

夏キャンプの最初の夜に私は、皆さんに注意をしました。
「キャンプの主な目的の一つは交わりです。朝、部屋を出る前にタブレットやスマートフォンや携帯電話を電源をオフにしてください。もし、キャンプの間に私はモバイル機を使っている人を見たら、キャンプが終わるまで没収します。」

次の朝、若い姉妹が足のケガをしました。私は彼女とその両親と一緒に病院に連れて行かなければなりませんでした。ようやく診察が終わった頃、皆さんに「今から帰ります」と連絡しょうと思いました。まず、私は小倉教会の兄弟に電話したけど、彼は出ません。次にもう一人兄弟に電話したけどやはり彼も出ません。最後に北九州教会の牧師夫人に電話したけど彼女も出ません。誰も電話に出ません！
キャンプに戻ってから、私は皆さんに聞きました。
「なぜ、電話に出なかったの？」彼等の返事は私を笑わせました。
「だって、携帯電話をボード先生に没収される事を恐れていたのでオフにしていました。」
皆さんが私の注意を聞いてくださったのだと分かった時、私はとても嬉しかったです。

しかし、聞いてくださった皆さんに質問があります。
「皆さんは、神様の注意も聞いていますか？」

例えば、この注意を聞いていますか。
「誘惑に陥らないように、目をさまして、祈っていなさい。心は燃えていても、肉体は弱いのです。」
マタイの福音書26:41

この注意もあります。
「子どもたちよ。偶像を警戒しなさい。」
Ⅰヨハネの手紙 5:21

もう一つあります。
「悪はどんな悪でも避けなさい。」
Ⅰテサロニケ人への手紙 5:22

牧師の注意を聞く事は、忠実な事ですが、神様の注意を聞く事はもっと大切です。

　　　　

NO ONE WOULD ANSWER !　

The first night of Summer Camp I warned everyone. “One of the main purposes of Camp is fellowship, so before you leave your room in the morning, turn off your I-pad, smart phone, and cell phone. If I see someone using one of those devices during Camp, I will take it away and keep it until Camp is over.”

The next morning one of the young ladies hurt her foot, so I had to go to the hospital with her and her parents. After we were finally finished, I thought I would call and let everyone know that we were on our way back to Camp. First, I called Brother Y, but he did not answer. Next, I called Brother K, but he did not answer. Finally, I called Mrs. Y. but she did not answer. No one would answer!

When I returned to Camp, I asked them, “Why didn’t you answer your phone?” Their reply made me laugh. “We were afraid of having our phone taken away by you, so we turned them off.”

When I realized that everyone had heeded my warning, I was very happy. However, I have a question for everyone who heeded my warning. Are you heeding God’s warning too?

For example, there is this warning:
Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
(Matthew 26:41)

There is this warning too:
Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
(First John 5:21)

One more:
Abstain from every form of evil.
(First Thessalonians 5:22)

Heeding the warnings of the pastor is a wonderful thing, but it is more important to heed the warnings of God.
