ヘルメットを被って教会に行った人達

フランスのパリに「ノートルダム」と言う有名な大聖堂があります。今年の4月15日にノートルダムは火事のために損害を受けました。

今月の15日に2ヶ月ぶりにノートルダムで礼拝が行われました。 まだ天井が落下する恐れがあるので、礼拝に出席した人達は神父と教会の奉仕者の30名だけでした。安全のために全員ヘルメットを被りました。

聖書によると全てのクリスチャンは自分の安全のためにヘルメットを被っています。
エペソ人への手紙6:12-13に書いてあります。
「私たちの格闘は血肉に対するものではなく、主権、力、この暗やみの世界の支配者たち、また、天にいるもろもろの悪霊に対するものです。 ですから、邪悪な日に際して対抗できるように、また、いっさいを成し遂げて、堅く立つことができるように、神のすべての武具をとりなさい。」

14節からクリスチャンがとるべき武具の説明が書いてあります。 腰を守る真理の帯と胸を守る正義の胸当てと悪い者が放つ火矢を消すための大盾と聖霊が与える剣である神の言葉があります。

このような武具を身に着けても頭を守る武具がなければ私達の命は危ないので17節に「救いのかぶとをかぶりなさい」と書いてあります。

ヨハネの福音書5:24に書いてあるキリストの言葉によると、キリストを信じる事によって救いのヘルメットを被る人は安全です。
「まことに、まことに、あなたがたに告げます。わたしのことばを聞いて、わたしを遣わした方を信じる者は、永遠のいのちを持ち、さばきに会うことがなく、死からいのちに移っているのです。」

まだ、キリストを信じていない皆さんは、早くキリストを信じて、救いのヘルメットを被ってください。
なぜなら、聖書によると「あなたがたの敵である悪魔が、ほえたけるししのように、食い尽くすべきものを捜し求めながら、歩き回っています。」からです。

PEOPLE WHO WORE A HELMET TO CHURCH

In Paris, France, there is a famous cathedral called Notre Dame. On April 15th of this year there was a fire that caused extensive damage to Notre Dame.

On the 15th of this month, a worship service was held at Notre Dame for the first time in two months. Because there is still the possibility that the ceiling might fall, only 30 priests and employees of the church attended the service. Everyone wore helmets for their safety.

According to the Bible, all Christians are wearing helmets for their safety. It is written in Ephesians 6:12-13. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore. take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

From verse 14 there is an explanation of the armor that we should take. There is truth that protects our loins, a breastplate of righteousness that protects our chest, a shield of faith that quenches the fiery darts of the wicked, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Even if we put on all this armor, if there is no armor to protect our head, our life will be in danger, so in verse 17 we are urged to take the helmet of salvation.

According to the words of Christ in John 5:24, the person who puts on the helmet of salvation by believing in Christ is safe. Verily, verily I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

If you have not believed in Christ yet, believe in Him as soon as possible and put on the helmet of salvation because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
