ヨレヨレのズボン

今、新型コロナウイルスの影響で集会に来られない教会員がいるので、今月から私は、ショート・メッセージをfacebookの教会ホームページに動画をアップロードしています。
それを見る人達は、私の上半身しか見えません。ジャケットとワイシャツを着てネクタイを締めていますが、視聴者には見えませんが、下半身のズボンは、ヨレヨレのズボンです。
我が家にいる時、いつも履いている普段着の年季の入ったズボンです。

メッセージを録音する時の私の姿は、神様から自分の本当の姿を隠そうとしている人々に似ています。
彼らは、キリスト時代のパリサイ人と同じです。キリストは、そのパリサイ人に厳しいことを言われました。
「あなたがたがは白く塗った墓のようなものです。墓はその外側は美しく見えても、内側は、死人の骨や、あらゆる汚れたものがいっぱいなように、あなたがたも、外側は、人に正しいと見えても、内側は偽善と不法でいっぱいです。」マタイの福音書23:27-28

私が上手にヨレヨレのズボンを視聴者から隠しているように、多くの人々は、上手に自分の不潔な心を人々から隠しています。神様は、私たちのうわべだけを見ている人と違って、私たちの心を見ておられます。（Ⅰサムエル記16:7）

ヨブ記34:21によると

RAGGEDY PANTS　

Because of the virus, there are several people who cannot come to church right now, so from this month I am recording my sermons on the church’s Facebook page. The people who see me can see only the upper part of my body, so even though I am wearing a jacket, a white shirt, and a necktie, I am wearing raggedy pants. They are the old pants that I always wear when I am home.

My appearance when I record the sermons is similar to the appearance of people who try to hide their true appearance from the Lord. They resemble the Pharisees in the days of Christ. He spoke these severe words to those Pharisees: You are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
(Matthew 23:27-28)

Just as I am cleverly hiding my raggedy pants from everyone, many people are hiding their unclean heart from people; however, different from people who see only our outward appearance, God sees our heart. (First Samuel 16:7)

According to Job 34:21, the eyes of the Lord are on the ways of man, and He sees all our steps, so let us walk before the Lord soberly, righteously and godly.
