してはいけないマスク

マスクをしなければならない生活は、もう嫌です。
すでに6月だからマスクをつけると暑い。
そしてマスクをして呼吸をするする度に眼鏡が曇ってしまいます。今、私がマスクで最も困っていることは、マスクを忘れることです。
最近、二度ほど買物に行く途中、マスクを忘れて来た事に気がついて、マスクを取りに戻らなければなりませんでした。

この三つの事で私は、早く新型コロナウイルスの収束を願っていますが、マスクをしなくても良いと言われるまで私たちは、外出する時にはマスクをするべきです。

しかし、しては、いけないマスクもあります。
それは、偽善者のマスクです。
英語の聖書に「Hypocrite」と書いてあります。
「Hypocrite」 と翻訳されたギリシャ語の単語の意味は「マスクをする人」です。

偽善者のマスクをしている人の特徴は、この三つです。
①人にほめられたい
「施しをするときには、人にほめられたくて会堂や通りで施しをする偽善者」マタイの福音書6:2

②人に見られたい
「祈るときには、偽善者たちのようであってはいけません。彼らは、人に見られたくて会堂や通りの四つ角に立って祈る。」マタイの福音書6:5

③ほかの人の罪を攻めるけど、自分自身の罪を無視する
「偽善者たち。まず、自分の目から梁を取りのけなさい。そうすれば、はっきり見えて、兄弟の目からも、ちりを取り除くことができます。」マタイの福音書7:5

教会に来る時、自分をウイルスから守るマスクをしましょう。しかし、偽善者のマスクをしては、いけません。

　　 

A MASK WE SHOULD
NOT PUT ON 

I do not like a life where we must wear a mask. First, the mask is hot. Also, every time I breathe, my glasses get fogged. But the thing that bothers me the most is forgetting my mask. Recently two times when I was on the way to the store, I realized that I did not have my mask, so I had to return home to get it.

For these three reasons I want the Corona virus to disappear as soon as possible; however, until we are told that it is okay not to wear a mask, every time we go out, we should put on a mask.

However, there is one mask that we should not put on. It is the mask of the hypocrite. The meaning of the Greek word that is translated “hypocrite” is “one who wears a mask.”

These are the three characteristics of the person who wears the mask of the hypocrite. First, they like to be praised by others.
When you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogue and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. (Matthew 6:2)

They like to be seen by others.
When you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. (Matthew 6:5)

They rebuke the sins of others but ignore their own sins.
Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. (Matthew 7:5)

When we come to church, let us wear a mask to protect us from the virus, but we must not wear the mask of the hypocrite.
