教会の青信号

9月20日は、この教会の「35周年記念集会」です。
1985年の9月、この教会が始まりました。
現在も教会の目的は、変わっていません。
それは、マルコの福音書16:15に書いてあります。
「全世界に出て行き、すべての造られた者に、福音を宣べ伝えなさい。」
これは、キリストからこの教会に与えられた使命です。
この使命についての三つのことを覚えましょう。

①「全世界に」と書いてあります。教会の使命は、あらゆる国で伝道する使命です。
マタイの福音書28:19に
「あらゆる国の人々を弟子としなさい。」
と書いてあります。
また、使徒の働き1:8に「地の果てにまで」
と書いてあります。
北九州市と苅田町で伝道しながら、献金と祈りによって日本で開拓伝道をしている伝道者と海外宣教をしている宣教師たちをサポートしましょう。

②「出て行き」と書いてあります。この言葉は、行動を要求する使命です。私たちは、日曜日に教会に来て、１時間イスに座っているだけでは、この使命を果たすことはできません。一人ひとりの教会員は、イスから立ち上がって、自分の賜物と時間を主に献げて、奉仕に励まなければなりません。

③「すべての造られた者に」と書いてあります。世界には、まだ福音を聞いた事がない人達がいる限り、教会の使命は、終わらないのです。主の再臨まで献金・奉仕・祈りを続けましょう。

現在、新型コロナウィルスのために、教会の伝道は、妨げられていますが、新型コロナコロナウィルスが終息し、そして再びチラシ配布・特別集会・子供会などの伝道を熱心に行いましょう。

THE CHURCH’S GREEN LIGHT

Today’s service is the 35th anniversary service of this church.
From the time this church began in September of 1985, the purpose of this church has not changed.
That purpose is written in Mark 16:15. Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
This is the mission that Christ gave to this church. Let’s remember three things about this mission.

1. It is written, into all the world, so the mission of this church is a mission to evangelize in every country.
In Matthew 28:19 it is written, teach all nations.
Also, in Acts 1:8 it is written, unto the uttermost part of the earth.
While we are doing evangelism in Kitakyushu City and Kanda Town, through offerings and prayer let us support the evangelists who are doing pioneer evangelism in Japan and the missionaries who are doing overseas evangelism.

2. It is written, Go, so this mission is a mission that demands action. We cannot fulfill this mission just by coming to church on Sunday and sitting in a pew for one hour. Each church member must get up out of his seat and dedicate his talents and time to the Lord and be diligent in service.

3. It is written, to every creature, so as long as there is one person in the world who has never heard the gospel, the mission of this church is a mission that does not end. Let’s continue our offerings and service and prayers until Christ comes again.

Now, because of the Corona virus, the evangelism of the church is being hindered, but as soon as Corona is over, let’s zealously pass out flyers and have special meetings and children’s meetings again.
