教会のベンチプレーヤーは何人でしょうか？

今回はスポーツ・クイズです。
スポーツ・チームにベンチプレーヤーは、何人でしょうか？
つまり、先発メンバー以外にチーム（ベンチ）に入っている選手は、何人いるでしょうか？
ラグビー・サッカー・野球・バスケットボール。

もう一つクイズがあります。
教会のベンチプレーヤーは、何人でしょうか？　
答えは０人です。
教会の場合、すべての教会員は先発メンバーです。

「キリストご自身、ある人を使徒、ある人を預言者、ある人を伝道者、ある人を牧師や教師として、お立てになったのです。」エペソ人への手紙4:11
なぜでしょうか
「それは、生徒たちを整えて奉仕の働きをさせ、キリストのからだを立て上げるためである。」12節

小倉で主の教会を建て上げるために、一人ひとりの教会員が整えられて奉仕の働きをする必要があります。
これは、神様が与えてくださった聖書の一つの目的です。
「神の人が、すべての良い働きのためにふさわしい十分に整えられた者となるためです。」Ⅱテモテへの手紙3:17

先週の日曜日に私は、この二つの個所の実現を見ることができました。
一人ひとりの教会員は、自分に出来る事をしました。
とても恵まれたバプテスマ式とバーベキューパーティーを行う事ができました。
これからも、主が与えてくださった賜物（自分が上手に出来る事）をどのように神様の教会を建て上げるために用いるべきか考えましょう。
ベンチプレーヤーにならないで下さい。
ベンチから立ち上がって、試合に参加して下さい。

HOW MANY BENCH PLAYERS
IN A CHURCH?

This is a sports quiz.
How many bench players are there in each of these sports? In other words, in addition to the starting members, how many players are there on the team?
Rugby. Soccer. Baseball. Basketball.

Here is another quiz.
How many bench players are there in a church?
The answer is zero.
In the case of a church, every church member is in the starting lineup.

He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers. (Ephesians 4:11)
Why?
For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
(Verse 12)

To build the church of the Lord in Kokura, it is necessary that each church member be equipped for the work of the ministry.
This is one of the purposes of the Bible that God gave us.
That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
(2 Timothy 3:17)

This past Sunday, I could see the manifestation of these passages.
Because each church member did what he could, we were able to have a greatly-blessed baptismal service and barbecue party.

From here on too, let’s consider how we should use our talents (the things we can do well) to build the Lord’s church.
Don’t be a bench player.
Get off of the bench and get into the game.
