逃走中！RUN FOR THE MONEY

鹿児島にいる間、私は息子の家族と一緒にとても面白いテレビ番組を見ました。
『逃走中』という番組です。この番組は、大きなショッピング・モールで行われました。
芸能人やスポーツ選手など20名がこの番組に出場しました。

彼らは、130分間3人の［ハンター］から逃げなければなりません。もし捕まれば賞金は、もらえません。
しかし、捕まらずに逃げ切る事ができれば、賞金780,000円がもらえます（1秒間に100円）。

逃走中に出場者は、いろんな［ミッション］を果たさなければなりません。
タイム・オーバーすると［ハンター］の数が増えていきます。
この番組を見ながら、ワクワク興奮して出場者を応援しました。
「危ない! 早く逃げろ!」

私は「このゲームが、クリスチャン生活に似ている］と思いました。Ⅰペテロの手紙5:8によると、クリスチャンを狙っている［ハンター］がいます。
「あなたがたの敵である悪魔が、ほえたけるししのように、食い尽くすべきものを探し求めながら、歩き回っています。」
この［ハンター］に捕まらないために、私たちは、２つのことをするように勧められています。
「身を慎み、目をさましていなさい。」

『逃走中』を見ながら、私が注目したもう一つのことは［ミッション］を果たすために、出場者は、協力しなければならなかった事です。
すべてのミッションを果たすために少なくても2～3人の協力が必要でした。

同じように、教会に与えられた［ミッション］を果たすために、皆さんの協力が必要です。
エルサレムにあった教会は、私たちの模範です。
使徒の働き4:32に書いてある言葉は、その教会の伝道の成功を説明しています。
「信じた者の群れは心と思いを一つにしました。」

　　 


RUN FOR THE MONEY 

While I was in Kagoshima, I watched a very interesting TV program with my son’s family. It is a program called “Run for The Money.” The program takes place in a large shopping center. Twenty people from the world of entertainment and sports participate in the program.

For 130 minutes they have to escape from three “hunters.” If they are captured, they receive no money. However, if they are able to escape without being captured, they receive 780,000 yen (100 yen for each second).

During the program, the participants have to carry out various “missions.” When they are unable to do so within the allotted time, the number of “hunters” increase. While I was watching this program, I became very excited and cheered for the participants.
“Look out! Hurry and escape!”

When I watched this program, I thought, “This program resembles the Christian life.”
According to First Peter 5:8, there is a “hunter” who is pursuing Christians.
Your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
We are exhorted to do two things so we will not be captured by this “hunter.”
Be sober, be vigilant.

While I was watching this program, I noticed one more thing. The participants had to cooperate to carry out the missions. 2-3 participants were necessary to complete each mission.

In the same way, in order for the church to carry out the mission that has been give to it, the cooperation of everyone is necessary.
The church in Jerusalem is our example. The words written in Acts 4:32a explain the success of the evangelism of this church.
The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul.
